The private Woolands music festival took place on June 28, 29, and 30, 2024, in a stunning wooded estate at Lac-Brome.
GnuckSquad illuminated the stage with lasers, moving heads, luminous geysers, and par LEDs. We expanded the stage with an assembly of LED tubes, giving a distinctive look to the focal point of the dancefloor. We also provided the sound system that kept the participants dancing.
Our system automatically follows the music, adjusting the animations to the tempo and sound characteristics. The lighting can be manually controlled using a keyboard connected to the lighting console… but we’ve also programmed a wireless XBOX controller to manage the animations and colors. The controller's joysticks even allow us to position the moving heads as we wish! We had a lot of fun letting lighting enthusiasts and the more curious people in the crowd try out the controller.
The event featured several electronic music DJs (old school dubstep, drum and bass, psytrance, trap, etc.).
The sky darkened on Saturday, but the pouring rain didn't dampen the festivities. Large tarps were installed over the crowd, and the equipment was protected accordingly.
